Review: Dirty Works Body Butters

Hello,
Today i really wanted to review the dirty works body butters as over the past three days i tried a body butter a day and wanted to share with you my thoughts.
Dirty works are mainly sold in boots and sainsburys across the uk and are basically 'Dupes' for the soap and glory range.

  1. The purple is the coconut body butter
  2. The blue is the supreme cream body butter
  3. The yellow is the velvety vanilla body butter

The coconut body butter is the perfect summer time moisturizer, it contains shea butter and coconut oil that are perfect for moisturizing the skin
It has a strong scent of coconut and is very sweet.
The body butter does a good job for moisturizing and sinks into the skin extremely fast

The velvety vanilla body butter is a 'night-time' scent as it isn't really a wake me up scent.
It also has shea butter and aloe vera for moisturizing the skin. It isn't a very sweet vanilla
                                                          (like a birthday cake scent).

The supreme cream body butter is a 'day time' scent and is quite perfumy and fresh, it doesnt really have an actual scent -well just perfumy really :)

Review: Bourjois healthy balance pressed powder

Hello, alongside my recent purchase of the Bourjois healthy mix serum i also decide to get the healthy balance pressed powder

The powder has a matt finish that makes your skin look healthy and has a good balance between the matt look and the fresh faced look.
The foundation/serum i reviewed earlier i mentioned that i had the shade 52 vanilla however, with the powder i have the shade light beige-53.
The powder makes any foundation have a good staying power and gives a fresh flawless look
Colourwise,it is a mixture between an pale orange/yellow and pink which hides any blemishes that only need to a sheer coverage, if not worn with foundation.

Review: Bourjois healthy mix serum

Hello, I recently bought this foundation/serum in my local superdrug and wanted to share my thoughts on it.
The foundation/serum has a medium coverage and doesn't feel too heavy on the skin. I have the shade 52 which is vanilla and i personally find that it is a tad too yellow for my skin tone.
Bourjois have had some great releases over the past couple of years and i truly believe that this is one of them.
Alot of people wonder if the serum is any different to the foundation and it honestly is.
The foundation has a high coverage and sticks to any uneven parts of the skin including spots which can make it look cakey and utterly disgusting!
However, The serum is totally different, it works well with most concealers in my case and doesn't stick to any dry patches or spots that may be on the skin. It gives your face a natural glow as it is also quite illuminating but not shimmery showing off your natural features.
